The flexible gel pack sits inside a soft cloth cover and is held in place by an adjustable elastic strap, so it stays put on your knee, shoulder, back, neck, wrist or ankle while you move around the house, sit at your desk or rest after training.

Use it cold or warm depending on what feels best. For a cold compress, place the pack in the freezer and it is ready to use within about an hour. For warmth, heat it in the microwave on medium for about two minutes, then check the surface temperature with your hand before applying. If it needs more heat, add 30 seconds at a time. The pack can also be warmed in hot water for a few minutes. Because it is reusable, one wrap can replace a drawer full of disposable packs.

The wrap is a handy addition to a home first aid kit, gym bag or office drawer, and it is designed for comfort after long days, workouts and everyday aches. It is not a substitute for medical care, so see a doctor for injuries, swelling that does not improve, or ongoing pain. Always place a thin cloth between the pack and bare skin, limit sessions to about 20 minutes, and never heat it until it is too hot to hold comfortably.
